Learn Unity’s
Design, Devlop and Deploy for VR

This course is a collaboration between Oculus and Unity. I’ve been working on this tutorial for months, diligently on Sunday afternoons. There have been some issues with versions of the VRTK now v4, and it’s compatibility with Unity’s releases. I’ve returned to the 2018 LTS and have had some success. I’ve been adding empty game objects and then adding script components, and introducing additional components in the inspector rather than searching for them in the project panel, as VRTK v4 has been refactored. However, Unit 4.11 stumped me. My L and R controllers handled the Teleport configs fine, but applying snap turns to the left controller seems to have failed.

I plan to pick this back up after my assignment deadline, however I’ve also been toying with XR Injection Toolkit. FB at GDC also referred to OpenXR. So, I need to take a little time to work through all of that.
